The Faculty of Architecture was designed  by the Team 10 Architect  Jaap Bakema and housed the Architecture students, faculty and staff for over three decades. On Tuesday, May 13th 2008 the building was destroyed by fire.

The Architecture Faculty has taken new residence in the former TU Delft  ‘Red Chemistry' building that later housed  the TU Delft's main administration. This listed building, constructed in 1915 and designed by the Architect G. van Drecht, is located on the Delft University of Technology's campus, Julianalaan 134, in Delft. Since making this building the faculty's new home, it has been renamed as the ‘BK-City' building.

From the A4 [Delft-Rotterdam] Highway: take the off ramp ‘Delft-Zuid'. At the light turn right and hold your right lane, follow ‘TU Delft' signage as indicated. At the end of the off ramp turn right into Schoemakerstraat. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. Pass the TU Delft main library on the left and proceed another 800 meters before turning left into Zuidplantsoen. The Faculty building is situated on your right hand side. Limited parking is available in front of the building.

Bus Services from Delft Central Stations:

The DSD administrative offices can be reached using the Connexxion and RET Bus Services.  Bus stops are located in front of the Delft Central Station. Take either busses no 121 [direction Zoetermeer], 40 [direction Rotterdam] or 69 [TU wijk] and disembark at Julianalaan. Taxi from Delft Central Station:
Taxi drivers are familiar with the TU campus. Simply ask to be taken to Julianalaan 134 or the Faculty of Architecture
